This one’s got to be a quick post because I’ve got to dash back into the kitchen to continue preparations for tomorrow night’s feast. (I’m a one-man kitchen operation.)
In case you’re still running short on Christmas presents, here’s yet another speedy and easy bake idea. It’s my simple butter biscuits, but Christmas-fied with some orange zest and a half-teaspoon of ground allspice. If you’re feeling extra festive, throw in some cinnamon and nutmeg as well.
These biscuits are quick to make and hardy enough to give as presents without worrying they’ll fall apart. Put them in a pretty tin and tie a bow around it.
